Whiskey Creek® Franchise Systems based in Kearney, Nebraska is proud to announce that it has signed a multi-unit franchise agreement with DAKALT, LLC in March of 2009, calling for a minimum of three Whiskey Creek® restaurants to be opened over a five year period in Indiana. The first restaurant in the agreement is set to open in Kokomo, Indiana in August of 2009.
DAKALT, LLC is owned by Craig Harts of Kokomo, Indiana. Craig has been in the restaurant business for over 25 years, and currently owns nine subway restaurants. The restaurant will be managed by Jeremy Wilkinson of Kokomo, who has been in the hospitality industry for over 14 years.
Whiskey Creek®’s® growth strategy includes secondary markets, not metropolitan areas. Whiskey Creek® is the largest Nebraska-based steak restaurant chain with 17 restaurants in Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Florida, Arkansas, South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota. The Kokomo franchise will be the company’s first venture in Indiana.
Whiskey Creek® Wood Fire Grill features grilled menu items cooked over a hardwood fire of oak and ash.
